CasalsCASALS VENTILACIÓN'S BIRTH Casals' history goes back to ends of the XIX century (in 1881) when its founder, Francesc Casals Fransoy, opened a small workshop in Ripoll, a small village located in Girona. As years passed by, the business evolved from the tooling of castings and the manufacturing of machinery for industries and workshops to an outstanding company dedicated to the manufacturing of tools' accessories and afterwards to tools themselves. At this time Talleres Casals was born, already operating in a new industrial area also in Ripoll. THE FIRST FAN MODELS In 1924 Casals started manufacturing its first models of industrial fans. At first Casals used a series production systems that developed into the current and modern lines of production. In this way Casals became a leading company in the sector. PRODUCTION DIVERSIFICATION With time Talleres Casals diversified its production and nowadays Casals Ventilación, one of its original divisions, is a single and independent entity. Situated in Sant Joan de les Abadesses, in a 12.000 m2 factory, it is manufacturing more than 100 series of fans for the national and international market. INTERNACIONAL GROWTH Casals Ventilación has experienced an important growth over the last years, exporting today over 40% of its total sales. As a fan manufacturer with more than 125 years of history, Casals Ventilación has an extensive technical catalogue for building and industrial ventilation with a wide range of fans certified at 400º C/2h. All of it, together with the most well-trained technicians to solve our customer's inquiries and to offer the most adequate product to their projects and needs. |
